Mark W. Tentinger passed away on Dec. 7, 2022 at the age of 98 in the home of his daughter and surrounded by his family. He was born on Jan. 4, 1924. He was the son of Lawrence and Elizabeth Tentinger. Mark moved his family to Pleasant Hill, Ore. in 1953. He is survived by his son, David Tentinger (Jan) and daughter Karen Johnson (Denny), seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two wives Betty Matthews and Serene Wiltfong; daughter Pam Mercer, and four brothers: Don, Kenny, Jack and Larry Tentinger.
Mark attended City Salt Church where his grandson, Dusty Johnson, was pastor. There will be a private family gathering on Mark’s birthday, Jan. 4, at his daughter’s home. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
