In beloved memory of Vivian Jean Gibbs (nee: Duncan), born Sept. 2, 1945 to Richard and Margarate Duncan in Drain, Ore. She grew up there with her five brothers and two sisters. Happy Camp, Calif., was one of the favorite places she lived, and also Redding, Calif., but the majority of her life was spent in the Yoncalla and Drain area.
Vivian was a great outdoors woman. An avid camper, and lover of the beach. One of her favorite spots was Windy Cove on the Oregon coast. She was a longtime member of the Yoncalla Assembly of God, she loved singing hymns and worshiping with friends in her home, where she finished her days surrounded by friends and family.
As her gift to the world, Vivian leaves behind her children, Charles Samson, Richard Samson, Consuela Samson, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who she loved.
Her memory is cherished, and she will be dearly missed until we all meet again in heaven.
