Daniel Jesus Hernandez Sr. passed away after a three-year battle with kidney cancer. Dan, he prefers, did 20-plus years in the Army and 20-plus years as a truck driver. He loved what he did and it shows. Dan loved woodworking and leatherworking. But most of all fishing. He is survived by his wife Lexi Hernandez, his son Daniel Jesus Hernandez Jr., his two stepdaughters Nicole Taber and Rebecca Kiser, four step-grandsons, his sister Rita Hillis, and his brothers Jim Hernandez and Doug Espinosa.
There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 11 a.m. at West Lawn Funeral Home.
