New mural, partnerships take flight

Swallowtail Spirits is graced with a new mural – it’s the first thing you see after crossing the bridge into Springfield. In partnership with Lane Arts Council, 20 students from A3 worked with local artist Jessilyn Brinkerhoff to create the beautiful butterfly design. Swallowtail owner Kevin Barret said he’s happy he can now tell people his building is the one with the butterfly mural. Ame Beard, A3 principal, said she was thrilled to see her students contributing to the community through their art.
