Charles Crisp, 83, of Cottage Grove, Ore. passed away peacefully on June 8, 2022. Charles was born in Marion, North Carolina on April 27, 1939 to Vencin and Gertrude (Burrell) Crisp. Charles spent his entire working career in the Mill industry working with lumber. He also served in the United States Army. Outside of working as a millworker, Charles spent a lot of time woodworking and creating beautiful furniture pieces and works of art. Charles also enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Vencin and Gertrude Crisp, son Danny Crisp, brother Hubert Crisp, and sister Margie Lee. Charles is survived by daughter Joan Gillmore of Dexter, brothers Robert (Martha) of Marion, North Carolina, Bruce (Sharon) of Blairsville, Georgia and Marion (Sharon) Crisp of Cottage Grove, and sister Frankie (Jim) Williams of Prineville.
