In response to an article in the April 28 edition of The Chronicle:
The only safe roads are roads without heavy fast motor vehicles. Remove motor vehicle traffic from most residential roads in Creswell, children, pets and adults would be safe on those streets, there would be little need to pave, repair, or add sidewalks. Some cities and towns in the world have found ways to keep heavy vehicles out of all or portions of their public domain; we could do the same for a safer, cleaner and more economical future.
