Daisy Brown of Creswell passed away on April 20, 2022. She was 92. She was born April 10, 1930 in Michigan City, Ind., to William Leslie and Thelma Geraldine Steele.
Daisy married Hugh (Mike) Brown in 1950 in Springfield, Ore. They moved to Creswell in 1958. They had two daughters and a son. She was a homemaker who loved baking and taking care of her family. Daisy also loved animals, especially her cats.
In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Daisy and her husband Mike owned Brown’s Floor Covering in Creswell. In later years she worked in housekeeping at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eugene.
She was a wonderful Mom and one of our best friends. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Daisy is survived by her daughters Kathy (Jack) Bellamy of Creswell and Pat (Dick) West also of Creswell. Her sister Shirley Reese of Elk Grove, Calif., three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Mike, her son Timothy, and her grandson Michael Bellamy. Also, her sister Cassie Whitton of Sacramento, Calif.
Honoring Daisy’s wishes, no service will be held.
