■ The Agrarian Sharing Network will be hosting Propagation Fairs-March 6 for Cottage Grove and Creswell, 11 a.m. at the Cottage Grove Armory, March 26 for Springfield at Springfield Lively Swim Park. These fairs feature free scion (grafting wood) from over a hundred different fruit varieties: apple, pear, Asian pear, plum, peach, cherry, quince, fig, grape, and more. Corresponding rootstock is available for $3, with grafting assistance free or by donation. Also lots of free vegetable seed.
