Mike was a lifelong hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed many trips with family and friends. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his fellow veterans at VFW Post #3965.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Gale Hill; his mother, Amanda Louise Bendix; his brothers, Lester Hill and John Hill; his sister, Joan Derhak; and his sister-in-law, Doris Hill. He is survived by his sons Shane Olsen, Matthew Hill, Daniel Hill; his sister-in-law Joyce Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Friday, Dec. 17, at Springfield Memorial Gardens. A reception followed at VFW Post #3965, 5344 Main St., Springfield, Ore.
