Eric James Cox, 45, of Cottage Grove passed away Nov. 25, 2021 peacefully at his residence. Eric was born December 16, 1975, in Medford, Ore. to parents Karen Jarrett and Dorman Cox. He graduated from Blue Mountain School in 1993.
He worked as a contractor in construction. Eric’s last job was as a hydraulics mechanic at LHM Hydraulics Inc. He was an outdoor enthusiast including hiking, camping, and off-roading in his Jeep. He loved Jesus and was a man of faith. Most of all Eric loved hanging out with his kids and teaching them everything he knew.
He is survived by his mother Karen Jarrett; son Jon (Taelor) Cox of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter Logan (Kasey) Collier of Fairbanks, Ark.; son David Cox of Cottage Grove; son Josh Cox of Glide, Ore.; sister Sunny Roland of Eagle Point, Ore.; sister Nique Totten of Tulsa, Okla.; and and one grandchild. Services will be held at a later date.
