Tuajuana Dowell-Oldham passed away on August 19, 2021 at age 78 after a long and tiring battle with cancer that she bore resolutely and courageously. She was born on December 27, 1942, in Kansas City, Mo. to parents John David and Lloydine Dowell. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1960, and grew up to be a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with an interest in horses, dogs, and motorcycles. Her carefully selected and ever-present holiday cards will be sadly missed by everyone in her extensive family.
She is survived by her five children: John Douglas, Vincent Edward, Chris Ladine, Sean Christopher, and Sonda Rae.
Her lifelong partner Harold hosted a drop-in reception at their home up on the hill on Sunday, Aug. 29.
