Jerry was born in Pocatello, Idaho on Sept. 8, 1932 to Alice and Jack Fox. She was the second of five children.
Jerry graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart Vernon Demorest on May 11, 1951.
