Coming Fall 2021 – the Springfield High School baseball team will be hitting home runs from a new home field.

In partnership with Bushnell University, the Springfield Baseball Project and Springfield Public Schools will renovate a baseball field located at Hamlin Middle School, known as the Hamlin Sports Complex.

Bushnell’s assistant athletic director Nick Askew announced to the school website the SHS Millers and Bushnell Beacons will share the field this fall ball season, with remaining renovations finishing up in January 2022. This April, reconstruction begins and the baseball field will have new turf, concessions, restrooms, and other facilities in time for the upcoming fall season.
