Norm Vierling: Dec. 31, 1956 – Dec. 12, 2020

Norm Vierling went to be with our Lord and Savior on Dec. 12, 2020 from complications of the heart.

Norm was born Dec. 31, 1956 in Springfield, Ore. His parents were Ed and June Vierling. He graduated from South Eugene High School and went to Lane Community College and got a degree in auto mechanics. 

He worked for Ideal Steel and started his own business in total home carpet care.

Norm enjoyed all outdoor activities like snowmobiling, boating, camping, fishing and four-wheeling in the dunes. He did this with family and his best friends Jim and Amber Husk. He enjoyed going to Cabo and fishing for marlin and dorado. Norm enjoyed his daily newspaper but most of all Norm loved working on cars and going to the Oregon Duck games.

Norm is preceded in death by his father and mother; Ed and June Vierling. He is survived by his brother Lynn Vierling (Lynn Kay) of Rathdrum, Idaho; sister Rose Woodford (Bill)of Superior, Mont.; his sister Beth Vierling (Vern) of Soldotna, Ala.; and his nephews Gabriel Norman Clark of Livingston, Mont. and Ezra Clark (Shauna) of Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa Vierling of Portland, Kara Vierling of Portland and Viera Mills of Soldotna. He is also survived by his Eugene family, Jim and Amber Husk.

There will be a private interment at a later date.
