Jennifer ‘Jenn’ Lorraine Salleng: Feb. 6, 1954 – March 23, 2021

Jennifer Salleng passed peacefully on March 23, 2021, into the heavenly arms of her loving parents, William “Bill” Salleng and Peggy Abbott, grandparents, Roy, Grace, Kathryn and Lyle on a sunny spring day in Springfield.

She had never fully recovered from falling and breaking her neck in late 2020.

A mid-century born native Oregonian, she was an adventurous free-spirited soul traveling the West and Midwest as a young adult settling in the Eugene-Springfield area over 30 years ago to raise her daughter and be near family.

With hair the color of golden sun rays she was a friendly gregarious person who believed if she could make a stranger smile, all would have a better day.

She is survived by her daughter, Kasie Albrecht, son, Tony Ivashin, sister, Marilyn Franc, stepmom and brothers, Laverne Salleng and Larry and Kevin White, grandsons, Liam, Grayson and Jacoby, niece, Marie Kramer, cousins, Angela and LeslieAnne Foster, and too many friends to name.

Rest In Peace sweet sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin. The pain of this world is behind you now.

Inurnment will be at Powers Cemetery, Powers, Ore. A memorial will be held later.
