Clifford Long Jr., 92, of Fall Creek, Ore., passed peacefully from COVID-19 complications on Jan. 22, 2021.
Born in Durand, Mich. on July 19, 1928, Cliff served in the Merchant Marines during World War II before settling in Fall Creek with his wife of 70 years, Mary Lou (deceased).
Cliff had a successful career in the logging industry, and he was active in the community, serving as Cub Scout Master and contributing to charitable and Christian organizations for many years. His gentle nature and pioneer spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son Cliff (Sali), grandchildren Jessica Robinson (Danny), Matthew Long, and great-granddaughter Una Leigh Robinson.
