Bobbie Garner

Bobbie was born in Dallas, Texas to Robert and Dona Morris, the oldest of three children. She moved to Salem, Oregon when she was 12 years old. She graduated from North Salem High School in 1949. Bobbie married John W. Garner and had three children: Theresa (Alan) Scholz, John (Leigh) Garner, and Pamela Call. When her children were school age, she went to school for her LPN at Lane Community College. Bobbie worked at Sacred Heart Hospital as a surgical nurse. She later went to Southern Oregon College to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, which she was very proud of. She worked in other various fields of nursing including dialysis, nurse management, and Home Health. She took great pride in her work and was dedicated to every position she held. Bobbie lived in many places, but her favorite was on the Oregon Coast. She retired to Creswell, Oregon, where she lived for the last 15 years. Bobbie is survived by her children, her sister, Lois Bronson of Mollala, Oregon, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
