Craig Daniel Stutzman, 51, of Cottage Grove, Ore., passed away on Oct. 21, 2020. He was born on Jan. 16, 1969 in Roseburg, Ore., to father, Brad F. Stutzman, stepmom, Deanna Stutzman and mother, Nelda L. (Ware). Craig graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1987. He served in the United States Marine Corp. Craig made his career in the landscaping industry creating beautiful landscapes, golf courses and water features. He enjoyed being in the great outdoors; hunting, fishing, mushrooming, crabbing, gardening, and four-wheeling. He loved spending time with family and friends, collecting arrowheads and watching westerns. Craig is survived by his sons, Cody, Jacob and Dillon Stutzman, of Cottage Grove; brothers, Curt and Kenny Stutzman of Cottage Grove, and Randy Stutzman, of Thorn Bay, Alaska; sister, Brenda Stutzman, of Cottage Grove; two grandchildren and one on the way; 12-year life partner, Cindy Zecca, of Cottage Grove and faithful companion Maggy. He was preceded in death by his mother. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel.
