Leo-Tigers need nature, financial security

A reader of The Chronicle asked if I would tell him about his personality and what career would be good for him. He was born under the western sign Leo during the lunar Year of the Tiger. He has been working in farming. Now, in his early 30s, he wonders if there would be a better career to pursue.

I’ve written about Tigers before. They love the outdoors, nature and animals, and they can grow plants and trees like champions. Tigers are risk takers and enjoy dynamic adventurers. This Leo-Tiger farmer is currently working in a career that is compatible with his astrological sign. Leo-Tigers do not enjoy working in enclosed spaces void of nature. However, if they do work inside, the environment must be clean and high quality, and classy. Leo-Tigers feel imbalanced inside rooms that feel messy and disorganized. Their preference is to be outdoors, with blue skies above them, shimmering waters around them, and fresh air. They especially feel safe and secure on high ground, with views overlooking a scenic environment with lots of trees, but they are not loners. They enjoy people, and they like to have fun with good friends and trusted associates.

A Leo-Tiger is born with radiant charisma and a powerful presence. You will feel the presence of a Leo-Tiger when they enter a room. They are great storytellers, excellent writers, and enjoy photography. They would make excellent photojournalists, nature guides, and landscapers. They are excellent skilled laborers, machinists, and they are creatively successful at anything they do.

Whatever career they choose, their passion includes nature and would be happiest with freedom and the ability to work outdoors at their discretion.

A Leo-Tiger prefers a career that puts them in a leadership position — either as a manager or supervisor, or in a position that allows them freedom and the ability to work at their own pace and using their own discretion. When a Leo-Tiger works in a subordinate position, they become frustrated and unhappy, unless they feel supreme respect and trust for their supervisor.

All Tigers enjoy fun. They are gentle and attentive with children and animals. Tigers are energetic, they run fast and play hard, and they need mental and physical stimulation. It is difficult for a Tiger to sit down and be still, especially during childhood.

Tigers do very well with interactive learning, since they have an energetic and stimulated mind. They also need to be around people who can keep up with their energy. Tigers get bored if they are forced to sit idly or listen too long to monotone conversations.

Leo Tigers like financial security and would not feel peaceful taking financial risks. A Tiger may risk parachuting out of an airplane but does not like risking his financial security. Famous Leo-Tigers include: actor Steve Carell; athlete Usain Bolt; and entrepreneur Steve Wozniak.
