Leora Louise Melton – July 6,1940 – Feb 18, 2020

Leora Louise Melton, 79, passed away peacefully in Prosser, Wash. on Feb 18, 2020.
Leora was born July 6,1940, in Bingham, Utah and lived in Creswell, Ore., most of her life.
Leora loved serving her missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, travelling, spending time with her family and her many friends, camping, listening to music, drives with her husband and visiting the Oregon Coast.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Melton; children, Skyler Olsen of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Lori and Roderick Boss of Barrigada, Guam; Tracy and Teresa Olsen of Eugene; Kelly and Dave Johnson of Portland; Stephanie and Shawn Stanley of Eugene, and Jared and Yolanda Olsen of Pleasant Hill; Floyd’s children, Wayne and Rhona Melton, Mark and Lisa Melton, Debra and Rob Wassom, Greg and Julie Melton, Teresa and Dave Stockdale and Kirk and Heather Melton; 48 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all who brought her great joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lucile Jacobson and her daughter, Valorie.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 550 N. Danebo Ave., Eugene, Ore.
She will be interred at Sunset Gardens in Richland, Wash.
