Eight Creslane Choir members have been chosen to perform with the Oregon Music Education Association All-State Elementary Honor Choir in January. Each choir director may rank and nominate up to 10 students, but often only the top two are accepted, so having eight chosen is exceptional, said choir director Erik Telfer, whose All-State recommendations were based on students’ auditions for him. ”The experience they get will be rewarding now and for years to come,” he said.
