Woman falls, gets helping hand

CRESWELL – Rose Eldredge, an 82-year-old Creswell resident, is grateful for the kind gentleman who stopped and came to her aid her after she fell on Oregon Avenue.
“I’d like to thank the Good Samaritan who helped me when I fell outside of Farmlands,” Eldredge said of the Nov. 26 incident. “He stopped and put me back in my car along with my groceries.”
Unbeknownst to the Good Samaritan, Eldredge suffered a broken left wrist when she fell. She was scheduled to have surgery Wednesday.
“I didn’t realize I had a problem until I got home,” she said. “Everything happened so fast … I’m just so thankful that this nice man was there to help me.
“We love Creswell, it’s a wonderful community. I’ve lived here 40 years, and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.”
