Mildred Mae Fee June 24, 1924 – Oct. 23, 2019

Mildred Mae Fee, 95, of Tigard, Ore. passed away in her home on Oct. 23, 2019.
Mildred was born in Broken Bow, Okla. on June 24, 1924 to parents Elwood Odis Bardwell Sr. and Ruby Smith. She attended school through the 12th grade before joining the workforce as a waitress at a drive-in in California.
Mildred married Gerald E. Fee in 1963, and together they owned Midge & Jerry’s Mini Golf and Midge & Jerry’s Car Wash in Cottage Grove for many years.
She enjoyed bowling, playing baseball with the Silk Stocks in Drain, Ore., and fishing – having once caught a salmon as big as she was. Mildred managed the Cottage Bowl Bowling Alley and assisted at the Hidden Valley Pro Shop. She was also beloved by many of the nurses at Signature Home Health and was visited by friends and family until the last day of her life.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Jane Johnson of Tigard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. Fee.
There will be a one-hour public visitation at Smith Lund Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019. Arrangements in the care of Smith Lund Mills.
