Swallowtail Spirits JEN BLUE/THE CHRONICLE
SPRINGFIELD – Last weekend, Springfield distillery Swallowtail Spirits held their grand opening to a packed house. Though the tasting room had a soft opening last month, patrons braved heavy rains to show up in droves to celebrate officially. Bartenders were quick to greet thirsty customers and serve up drinks crafted from their award-winning vodka, gin and whiskey. The Swallowtail Tasting Room is located at 111 Main St. and is open Wednesday through Saturday evenings.
