Nicole Brown 1994

Local bike enthusiast Nicole Brown competed in her first race, riding her custom built BMX at Autzen Stadium in Eugene. She finished in second place, competing as the only female in the competition. Substitute teacher and owner of Creswell Cyclery Jim Bolivar is sponsoring Brown in upcoming events after such a powerful first run. (Excerpt from The Chronicle – September 14, 1994)
