The Lions Club presented a donation of $1,500 to the Creswell Heritage Foundation (CHF) on July 25 as part of the Lions Club disbursement of funds upon disbanding. Pictured, Lions Club President John Franklin presents a check to Creswell Heritage Foundation Vice President Don Ehrich. Also pictured are Lions Club board member Peg Bryant (front) and CHF board member Mary Ann Howard. Franklin said that all Creswell Lions Club funds were raised and disbursed locally. The donation to CHF is for the restoration of a window in the Old Schoolhouse. Verlean McCoy, CHF president, said this is the first donation specifically aimed at attracting sponsors for window restoration. Sponsors will be recognized with a permanent plaque next to a restored window. Sponsorships can be in amounts of $500, $1,000 or $1,500. The sponsorship campaign will be open until June 30, 2020.
