The Sixth Annual Cottage Grove Wings & Wheels is June 29 at Jim Wright Memorial Field in Cottage Grove from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. Modern and vintage aircrafts and automobiles will be on display and there will be food vendors onsite.
Proceeds benefit the restoration of the vintage aircraft at the Oregon Aviation History Center, which will also be open during the event. Restorations in progress at the Oregon Aviation Historical Society include the 1931 Great Lakes 2T-1A owned by barnstormer Tex Rankin and the ”Wimpy,” a Les Long-Swede Ralston aircraft with an extensive Oregon history. These planes will all be available to view during the event.
This is a family-friendly event, but please, no pets.
