Emerald Valley Armory celebrates one year in new location

Erin Tierney/The Creswell Chronicle

For local gun enthusiasts, Emerald Valley Armory has been a staple in the Creswell community since it was founded by Raye Gunter in late 2011. One year ago, on March 20, 2018, Gunter relocated to 147 W. Oregon Ave, in the heart of Creswell. They celebrated one year at that location last Wednesday. Pictured are business partners Gunter, left and Gary Gallagher, along with Ruger, the great dane. Not pictured is Mr. Jenkins, Gunter’s other great dane that hangs out in the shop. Gunter has over 18 years of armory management experience and over eight years of active service. His vision with Emerald Valley Armory is to build a solid line of service and products based on his experience.
