Incident near schools cause Pleasant Hill ‘lock-ins’

On Friday, March 8, a lock-in was performed at Pleasant Hill elementary and high schools.
According to the release issued by the District, law enforcement was investigating a possible incident at a residence near the schools.
”In an abundance of caution, we kept all students indoors,” the release states.
Students remained in lock-in mode from 11:05 until 11:55, at which point law enforcement okayed the school district to return to normal operations. All students remained safe during this incident.
No other information was released, including the nature of the incident that was being investigated.
