Since 1966, Emerald Valley Golf Club’s success has been a hole in one. One of the finest public access courses in the State of Oregon, Emerald Valley Golf & Resort features a well-maintained course, friendly staff, and plenty of space to work on long and short games.
Additionally, the Emerald Valley Event Center can host business events, parties and weddings. Full-service banquet and catering options are also available, and the clubhouse can host up to 70 people at one time.
What some may not know is Emerald Valley Golf & Resort also offers an amazing and unique dining experience.
Over the last decade, the management at Emerald Valley Golf has primarily focused on golfers–creating an unmatched golfing experience. Because of this, their dining options were rather limited. Their menu consisted of ”grab and go” items, such as hot dogs, burgers, and drinks. While the limited menu was important, it lacked variety and didn’t cater to families or more health-conscious lifestyles.
But all of that has changed. General Manager Laine Wortman and Director of Food and Beverage and Chef, Aaron Haaby, have teamed up to revamp their dining experience. Focusing on specialty dinners and happy hours, Emerald Valley Golf & Resort is now known for more than just an exquisite golf course.
Two of the biggest changes are Friday dinners and Sunday breakfasts. Open on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., families can enjoy unique lunch and dinner specials. In the upcoming month, customers can look forward to delicious prime rib and fresh fish entrées. Entrée salads, made-from-scratch soups, hamburgers, wraps and grilled sandwiches are also available, and Haaby and his team can even modify menu items to accommodate vegetarians or those with gluten allergies.
Daily lunch specials are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Sunday breakfasts are attracting a lot of attention. Starting at 8 a.m., families have a new place to go for a hot and delicious sit-down breakfast experience. The expanded breakfast menu is served until 1 p.m., and includes omelets, breakfast sandwiches, burritos, pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy and more. Bloody Marys and mimosas are also available and are perfect with pancakes and poached eggs!
More limited menus are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, but the restaurant still features grab and go options for those who need a little fuel before their games.
Additionally, the Back Nine Bar features a fine selection of five draft beers and microbrews. Their casual atmosphere contains ample seating and seven televisions for staying up to date with sporting events.
