Howell selected for All-State volleyball team

Bailey Howell, a senior outside hitter and setter, was the only Creswell volleyball player to earn a spot when the 2018 3A Volleyball All-State Teams were announced recently.
Howell was named to the Second Team All-State.
Emily Bourne, a sophomore outside/right side hitter from Santiam Christian, was named the 3A State Player of the Year.
Joining Bourne on the 3A First Team All-State were Caroline McMahon, a senior from Cascade Christian; Kassie Staton, a junior from Santiam Christian; Kalea Salang, a senior from Blanchet Catholic; Sydnie Johnson, a senior from South Umpqua; Christina Boxberger, a senior from Oregon Episcopal School; and Shalyn Gray, a junior from South Umpqua.
Joining Howell on the Second Team were Kaylee Cannon, a senior from Cascade Christian; Makenna Collins, a sophomore from Irrigon; Lauren Eyerly, a senior from Horizon Christian; Kaiden Raif, a sophomore from Burns; Grace Brown, a senior from Salem Academy; and Hailey Ostby, a senior from Blanchet Catholic.
Named to the Third Team were Claire Bussert, a senior from Warrenton; Taylor Cave, a sophomore from Cascade Christian; Jenna Whitmore, a junior from South Umpqua; Aylea Dixon, a senior from Yamhill-Carlton; Alyssa Molony, a senior from Westside Christian; Jazzy Lazaro, a junior from Horizon Christian; and Kalie Mann, a senior from South Umpqua.
Kelli Fitzpatrick, head coach of the 2018 3A State Champion Santiam Christian Eagles, was named the 3A State Coach of the Year.
