Community Blessings – Pat Edwards

How can I recount all of my blessings in a few paragraphs? I can’t. This year has been a rather difficult one for me for various reasons, but because it has, perhaps it’s easier to recognize the truly good things in my life – the people and things that have always been there for me. When I begin to mentally sort through them, one always comes to the surface of my consciousness more than any other: My husband of 54 years, Jim Edwards. He’s been my rock for those many years, and I’ve always known I can trust his love and loyalty, not only for me, but for our beautiful family, as well.
We are so different from each other and yet so much alike in the important elements of our lives. As we grow old together, our bodies are developing the requisite aches and pains and slowing down considerably; yet I know that if I need a steady hand, all I have to do is reach out, just as he knows that I’m there for him, too. We’ve weathered a lot of storms in our lives and we’re prepared for whatever fate awaits us – together.
God has blessed me with a true soulmate and I thank him with all my heart – Always and Forever.
