Dr. Richard ”Dick” Page shows the volunteers how to attach a spar (a strong pole) to the sail of a kite during Kite Day with Dr. Page on July 11. Dr. Page, who has been teaching how to make kites at the Creswell Library for over 10 years, chose the guitar shape to go with the Summer Reading Programs current ”rock” theme.
