Creswell AM/PM robbery suspect in custody

On Sunday, June 3 at 1:53 a.m., the Lane County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the AM/PM in Creswell.
It was reported that a male entered the store holding a black object and told the night clerk to give him all the money. The suspect then ran out of the store with cash and was last seen running towards the I-5 overpass.
Deputies arrived and got a good description of the suspect. A K9 unit from the Eugene Police Department was requested to assist in locating the suspect. Shortly thereafter, the male suspect walked back to the parking lot of the store and put his hands up. After he was detained, the stolen money from the store was located in his pocket.
The suspect, identified as Kyle Crawford, 37, of Pleasant Hill, was taken into custody for Robbery 1 and Theft 2 and was lodged at the Lane County Jail
