Creswell High’s eight-member Color Guard team performed a rousing routine during halftime of the girls’ and the boys’ basketball games as the Creswell Bulldogs hosted the Cascade Christian Challengers for a nonleague contest on Jan. 23.
Set to music, the energetic, high-flying performance further elevated the spirits of the home crowd, which continued to cheer their teams on to victory in both games, as the Lady Dawgs routed Cascade Christian 56-25 in the early game and the Bulldogs followed by besting the Challengers 46-41.
The members of this year’s Color Guard are Anna Mercer, Emily McBeth, Grace Perdue, Carley Wilkerson, Mikiah Southmayd, Karissa Bailor, Lily Plummer and Kylie Hecker.
The team is coached by Elizabeth Holiman.
