Dapron, two others earn all-league honors

CRESWELL — Three members of the CHS girls basketball team earned all-league honors for the 2019-20 season. Junior post/forward Brea Dapron was named to the 3A Mountain Valley Conference First Team, sophomore guard Emme Whitson was named to the second team and senior wing Kylee Whitson received honorable mention.
Audrey Miller, a junior guard from Santiam Christian, was named MVC’s Player of the Year.
Dapron led the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounds, averaging 12 points and 13 rebounds per game on the season.
Emme Whitson led the team in three-point shooting at 31%, and averaged six points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals for the season.
Kylee Whitson led the team in steals with an average of 1.8 per game, in addition to two points and three rebounds.
Harrisburg’s Brody McGowan was MVC Coach of the Year.
