CRESWELL – Local vets partook in an All-American pancake breakfast to celebrate receiving the VFW All American award again for 2018-19.
Additionally, the Bloodworks Northwest bus was parked in front of the VFW to encourage participation in their ongoing mobile blood drive. Anyone who donated blood received a breakfast compliments of the VFW.
VFW members hope to connect more with the community by adding various events throughout the month. Bingo is held every second Friday, and the VFW hosts a potluck every third Friday. Pancake breakfasts with all the fixings are served from 8-10 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month.
