Tickets flying out the door for
‘Mary Poppins’ performance in Cottage Grove

COTTAGE GROVE — The Cottage Theatre season continues with “Mary Poppins,” which runs four weekends from April 4 to 27.

When the Banks family is visited by the practically perfect nanny Mary Poppins, her whimsical methods help them rediscover the joy and importance of family. This 1964 Disney movie musical adaptation has become an enduring fixture in theater with songs like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Chim Chim Cher-ee.” According to Susan Goes, executive director of the theatre, Cottage Theatre’s production promises “a blend of familiar tunes and high-flying moments.”

Goes stated that the show is selling out quickly, with the three Sunday matinees having already sold out. Tickets are still available for all evening performances. Call 541-942-8001 to be added to the Waiting List for one of the matinees.
