This Oregon Board of Dentistry approved course uses hands-on clinical instruction to help Expanded Functions Dental Assistants build confidence and skill in subgingival retraction cord placement.

Course Details:
Program Fee: $375
Eligibility: Must be an Oregon EFDA and currently employed in a dental office
Participants will practice proper placement techniques on typodonts and complete an instructor evaluation. After the course, students will document cord placement on 10 patients under indirect supervision to earn their Oregon Credential Certificate in Subgingival Cord Placement.
