
Chamber Music Amici Summer Festival Day 1 – Dialogue in Rhythms
Chamber Music Amici opens its 2025 Summer Festival with Dialogue in Rhythms, an evening of vibrant, rhythm-rich works set against the backdrop of open skies and a glowing sunset at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum. The program begins with Bartók’s lively Romanian Folk Dances arranged for bass and piano, followed by George Enescu’s lyrical Cantabile et presto for flute and piano. Next is Serge Koussevitzky’s soulful Two Pieces for Bass and Piano, and the evening concludes with Claude Bolling’s spirited Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio.
