NOTICE OF THE SPRINGFIELD CITY COUNCIL MEETING TO HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACT FOR DEFERRED MAINTENANCE OF THE HISTORIC SPRINGFIELD DEPOT BUILDING

Notice is hereby given that the Springfield City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 225 Fifth Street, Springfield, Oregon to hear public testimony regarding the following resolution:

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXEMPTION TO BIDDING REQUIREMENTS PURSUANT TO ORS 279C.335(1) AND SPRINGFIELD PUBLIC CONTRACTING ORDINANCE SMC 2.700 THROUGH 2.713 FOR DEFERRED MAINTENANCE OF THE HISTORIC SPRINGFIELD DEPOT BUILDING.

This public hearing is for the purpose of taking comments on the City of Springfield’s draft findings for the described exemption from the competitive bidding requirements.  Any interested party may appear and present comment.
