SPRINGFIELD UTILITY BOARD
EXECUTIVE SESSIONS AND SPECIAL WORK SESSION
The Springfield Utility Board plans to meet in a non-public executive session on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. and may be extended to 5:30 p.m. if necessary. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
The Board also plans to hold a special work session from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. (if time allowed) on July 9. The purpose of this session is to discuss the 5-Year Strategic Plan, and General Manager Recruitment. Please note that the Board does not hear public comments during work sessions.
The Board also plans to meet in a non-public executive session on July 9, at approximately 7:30 p.m., if needed, immediately following the conclusion of the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. The executive session will be held pursuant to ORS 40.225, and ORS 192.660(2)(f): attorney-client privilege; and to consider information or records that are exempt by law from public inspection, including written advice from attorneys.
Members of the public are invited to join the 5:00 p.m. special work session and the 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting in-person or remotely via phone or internet. Instructions to join remotely will be posted on the agenda prior to the meeting on SUB’s website at www.subutil.com under Board Meetings. Public comments may be submitted in advance by Noon on July 9, by using the email link provided on the agenda. The meetings will be held in SUB’s Board Room located in the Annex Building at 223 A Street in Springfield.
