PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Creswell Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 5:30pm in the McCluskey Council Chambers at Creswell City Hall to hear Case No. SR-2022- 01, a site design review request initiated by Sheri Johnson to construct one (1) manufactured home on tax lot 4900 at Assessor’s Map 19-03-14-22. The applicant will build a 1,300 sq ft home on Tax Lot 4900. The property is zoned Low Density Residential (RL) by the Creswell Zoning Map and is identified as Residential (R) by the Creswell Comprehensive Land Use Diagram. The site currently has a single-family home and a triplex. The proposal will be reviewed subject to the following sections of the Creswell Development Code: Section 2.2 Residential Land Use Districts, Article 3 Community Design Standards, Section 4.1.400 Type III (Quasi-Judicial) Review, and Section 4.2 Site Design Review. Interested persons can offer their respective comments by attending the public hearing and/or providing written comments submitted to the Planning Commission through the City Planner, in the following manner:

  2. Mailed to Creswell City Hall, P.O. Box 276, Creswell, OR 97426;

Written comments submitted less than two hours prior to the hearing must be personally submitted at the hearing. A copy of the staff report, draft findings of fact, and related documents can be reviewed electronically free-of-charge, provided by Staff during business hours between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, or be printed at the expense ($0.25 per page) of the person wishing to obtain copies. Materials are available one week prior to the public hearing date. The Planning Commission has the authority to approve, approve with conditions, or deny the proposed application. Failure to raise an issue, in person or by written comment, at the Planning Commission hearing, or failure to provide statements or evidence related to an issue, precludes reliance on that issue in any later appeal of the deci- sion, which is made after consideration of statements and evidence submitted, including an appeal to the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals.
