NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Creswell City Council will conduct a public hearing in Creswell City Hall on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 7:00 p.m, in order to hear the following:
Case No. ANNEX-2021-01/ZC-2021-01 a request by Bill Spencer to bring approximately 3.97 acres at 82861 Butte Road into the City limits, zoned as Low-Density Residential (RL). The annexation includes Tax Lot 5100 as shown in tax assessors’ map 19-03-15-40. The property is contiguous to the Creswell city limits on its west boundary. The site is located in the southwest area of Creswell, south of the King’s Row road alignment and west of South 9th Street. Currently the Lane County zoning designation of Tax Lot 5100 is Agriculture, Grazing, and Timber (AGT). The site is zoned and designated Residential on the City of Creswell’s Comprehensive Plan map. Upon annexation the property will be zoned Low-Density Residential (RL). This application will be reviewed under Section III of the Creswell Comprehensive Plan, Statewide Planning Goal 14 (Urbanization) and applicable sections of the Creswell Development Code.
Interested persons can offer their respective comments by attending the public hearing in person, at which time testimony will be taken from those that support or oppose the proposal, or are neutral; OR, written comments can be submitted to the City Council through the City Planner, in the following manner:
1. Personally delivered to Creswell City Hall at 13 South 1st Street;
2. Mailed to Creswell City Hall, P.O. Box 276, Creswell, Oregon 97426;
3. Faxed to 895-3647;
4. E-mailed to [email protected].
Written comments submitted after 5:00 p.m. the day of the hearing must be personally submitted at the hearing. A copy of the staff report, draft findings and related documents can be reviewed free-of-charge at City Hall between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or they may be duplicated at the expense ($0.25 per page) of the person wishing to obtain copies one week prior to the public hearing date.
