Roosters will see lucky years ahead!

We all have smooth lunar years, and we all have challenging ones. This year, 2020, is the lunar Year of the Rat, and I received a question from a reader of The Chronicle who was born during the Year of the Rooster. She wondered when she would have a lucky year.

The Year of the Rat is a difficult year for Roosters. The Year of the Pig (2019) also was a difficult year for Roosters. Unfortunately, Roosters have endured two consecutive difficult years that brought them stress and unexpected challenges, both at work and at home.

The pandemic has challenged all of us, but Roosters have faced compound challenges due to their two difficult lunar years, while also struggling through the pandemic. Last year, during the Year of the Pig, Roosters faced financial difficulties, perhaps overspending or directing money into weak investments that left them financially vulnerable. This year, unexpected financial challenges continued, most of which Roosters have been left to handle alone, exacerbating stress and health issues.

There is good news ahead for Roosters! The Year of the Ox (2021) will offer Roosters some relief, life at home will be better, and they could enjoy opportunities for travel. Roosters will manage through adversity with the help of others and in a much stronger position to build back their power and control over their environment during 2021.

The Year of the Tiger (2022) will bring Roosters much activity, and positive business opportunities will offer Roosters successful results, enabling them to build toward recovering their financial and emotional strength.

Roosters are organized and handle money well. It is extremely difficult for Roosters to lose power or control over their financial security and their environment. Roosters strive for perfection, which is a significant factor in why they need their environment to be organized and within their control. Roosters consider their own vision about how things should be done, and when others do not operate as the Rooster would, it is difficult for the Rooster to remain calm and relaxed.

Roosters are compassionate and they want to help others. They enjoy guiding others, teaching, and leading the way. Roosters enjoy keeping others on track and ensuring things are done properly. A Rooster’s tendency to guide others can sometimes feel overbearing or critical, but that is not the Rooster’s intention. A Rooster’s instincts propel them to help, and offering guidance is their way of demonstrating that they care. When a Rooster is going through a rough year, their natural instincts to help can become preoccupied and can create a feeling of imbalance in the Rooster.

The coming years should offer the Rooster much more balance and feelings of control and serenity. All will be well again, Ms. Rooster. You will see lucky years ahead, very soon!
