Supporting and showing up for local events is one of the main themes in Creswell’s locally owned paper. The importance of buying local is a message often discussed throughout the pages of The Creswell Chronicle, one that is recognized by its readers.
The holiday season is coming up, and it’s vital for local retail stores. Their whole year can be made in the two months before Dec. 25. With all the art fairs, craft shows and retail open houses going on in such a sort length of time, it drives the holiday season to start earlier than in years past.
Two main street businesses in Creswell are teaming up to showcase their holiday open houses this weekend – Friday, Nov. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 3. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. marks the dates for the Very Vintage Christmas.
Burlap & Lace and The Farmhouse Collective Store are partnering together to bring the holiday season to a start. With the two stores brimming to the rim with an array of holiday decor, there are gift giving solutions for anyone on a gift giving list.
Burlap & Lace is located at 240 W. Oregon Ave. Farmhouse Collective is located just a few doors down at 106 W. Oregon.
Two stores, two days – one holiday event.
