After their practice on Thursday morning, Aug. 16, Creswell High School boys’ soccer team gave back to the middle school by repainting lines in the parking lot, sparking an act of kindness that inspired the high school girls’ soccer team to paint the parking lines at the high school after their practice as well.
Creswell Middle School Principal Shirley Burrus called it a community service project, noting how generous it was when kids give back to the school.
Creswell Middle School Science Teacher Janelle Sailer said it was an easy way for the coaches and the teams to show their appreciation to the school district.
”We know how much the community and the schools give towards athletics and both coaches, myself and Brandi Wittenborn, and the players want to show our appreciation by giving back,” she said.
