MIKE ROTHGEB/THE CRESWELL CHRONICLE
Thursday, July 5, marked one year since Hilltop Bar & Grill opened their doors in Pleasant Hill. To celebrate this glorious occasion, they have quite the party lined up.
In previous years, Pisgah Public Market has thrown a Community Summer Celebration with music, food, drinks and fun. This year, the businesses at Pisgah Public Market and Hilltop Bar & Grill have joined forces and combined with Hilltop’s one-year anniversary. On Saturday, July 21, The Summer Celebration and Hilltop Fruit Beer Festival begins at noon and runs until 11 p.m.
The shindig will include art, dancing, local vendors and non-profit booths, such as Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council and the Kesey Farm Project. Just Move Studio will offer NIA Dance class demonstrations, and The Grateful Harvester and other businesses in the Pisgah Public Market will have demonstrations and specials throughout the day. Free live music featuring The Minors at 4 p.m. and Reeble Jar at 8 p.m. will take place in the parking lot free of charge.
Participation in The Fruit Beer Festival costs $15 per person and features beer, cider and mead from 17 local breweries, as well as a souvenir pint glass, four tasting tickets and a wristband. General admission to the Summer Celebration is free and patrons of all ages are welcome to attend. Non-alcoholic drinks and food will also be available, but only adults with Brewfest tickets are allowed to drink alcohol in the event area.
There will be plenty of food for attendees with Hilltop Bar & Grill’s appetizers, lunch, and dinner items, and a space to take a load off at their indoor and outdoor tables.
