City Hall Gallery features Hans d’Hollosy show

The Springfield Arts Commission is pleased to present ”Recent Paintings,” an exhibition of work by artist Hans d’Hollosy. The show will run from June 2-30, 2018 with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 8.
Born in 1953 and educated in The Hague, The Netherlands, and Eugene, d’Hollosy has lived and painted in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, California; New York City; and Eugene. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Fine Arts-Painting in 1976.
The reception is open to the community and will also feature light refreshments and live music by Frank Poloney. A jazz flautist and founder of the Jazz Flute Project, Poloney performs at the Eugene Saturday Market, Jazz Station and special events throughout the area.
Located on a 90-foot wall just outside the entrance to the Springfield Library, City Hall Gallery is seen by approximately 3,700 visitors each month. Since 1989, the gallery has featured monthly shows by regional artists chosen by the Springfield Arts Commission.
