SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Arts Commission is looking for musicians to perform at the City Hall and new Young Artist’s Galleries’ artist receptions September-December 2022 and each month in 2023.
Receptions are held during the Springfield 2nd Friday Art Walk of each month in the Springfield City Hall lobby at 225 5th St. from 5 to 6:45 p.m. This is an indoor venue with power available. Musicians are responsible for providing their own instruments and equipment.
The Springfield Arts Commission will offer a $100 stipend for each month’s performance and include musicians in all pre-event promotions such as email marketing, press releases and posters. Performers are welcome to bring their own promotional materials to the venue and may sell their own merchandise.
Applications are due by Aug. 15 and preference will be given to early applications. Solo and group applicants are welcome. Successful applicants will be asked to sign a contract and provide a completed W9 form.
